Where to stay
The Guest House at Graceland
The Guest House at Graceland is by far my favorite place to stay in Memphis. Touched with Elvis’s style everywhere, the ambiance of this hotel is sure to please. There are two full restaurants, a stylish lobby lounge, a coffee shop, and a theater. The hotel is within walking distance to Graceland. Elvis movies play nightly at the theater. After the movie, be sure to stop by the complimentary Peanut Butter & Jelly Bar for a late-night snack!

Where to eat
Delta’s Kitchen

Start your day at Delta’s Kitchen with a savory breakfast, showcasing a buffet that offers an impressive variety of choices, from eggs and bacon to waffles, and omelets. You will certainly have numerous options to choose from. Also, the service was superb. The restaurant also offers a dinner menu.
EP’S Bar and Grill

EP’S Bar and Grill has the best burger in Memphis in my opinion! They offer lots of choices from burgers to pizza. You’re sure to find something that you’ll enjoy! Already staying at another hotel? That’s OK, you can still visit any of the restaurants without being a hotel guest. There may be a parking charge for non hotel guest.
Places to visit
Sun Studio

Sun Studio is an iconic destination. Recognized for its history of recordings by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and numerous other talented artists. The studio is still open and used by artists today. Be sure to stop by and take the tour, you’ll gain a unique behind-the-scenes insight into the studio’s history. You’ll also have the opportunity to stand in the exact spot where Elvis recorded, holding the microphone he used, making for a memorable photo op! An awesome experience for an Elvis fan! Lansky’s

A trip to Memphis isn’t complete without a stop at Lansky’s! Lansky’s is filled with stylish clothing that will turn heads wherever you go! They’re known for being the “Clothier to the King”, a young Elvis shopped here to get his iconic look. They’ve also been a go to for other well known musicians and celebrities. Lansky’s definitely has a style that will set you apart. From statement pieces to casual tees, they’ll have you feeling, and looking like a rock star! Shop Lansky’s here
Lauderdale Courts

Visit where Elvis lived before he became famous. You can contact them on Facebook. The Facebook page can be found by searching Lauderdale Courts – Elvis Presley Apartment. You can message or call them to find out the schedule. Tours are only available at specific times of the year. The apartment is also available to be rented for a night and you can sleep in Elvis’s bedroom. You’ll have to contact the office for full details.

There’s a living room area and small kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms. The apartment probably felt very roomy to the Presley’s compared to the two room house in Tupelo.

1034 Audubon Drive

The first home Elvis purchased in Memphis is located at 1034 Audubon Drive. He lived there with his parents until he purchased Graceland. Although the property is not open to the public, visitors can drive by and take photos in front of the house.

Overton Park Shell

The Overton Park Shell was the site of Elvis Presley’s first billed performance on July 30th, 1954. He performed again in 1955, attracting over 4,000 spectators. This venue has hosted renowned musicians from Johnny Cash to Isaac Hayes. Today, the Shell remains a popular place for concerts. Upcoming concerts and events are listed on their website.
