Every August, I make it a point to head to Memphis for one of my favorite traditions: Elvis Week. What started as a one-time trip has now become a yearly adventure that I look forward to all year long. Elvis Week 2025 was no exception, it was filled with energy, music, style, and plenty of unforgettable moments.

From the moment I walked through the gates of Graceland, I felt the same excitement I always do. There’s something about being surrounded by fans from all over the world who share the same love and appreciation for Elvis Presley. The air is filled with nostalgia, music echoes everywhere, and it feels like stepping back into a golden era.
Of course, for me, it’s not just about attending—it’s also about sharing the journey with my community. From styling the perfect Elvis-inspired outfit to capturing snapshots in front of the iconic Graceland sign, I love giving my followers a peek into the experience.

Stepping into Elvis Week 2025 felt like stepping into a living, breathing love letter to The King himself. From the moment I saw the iconic Graceland sign, I knew this trip was going to be something special, and it didn’t disappoint.
As someone who loves to blend fashion, travel, and unforgettable experiences, I couldn’t wait to share my Elvis Week journey with all of you. Whether you’re an Elvis superfan or just looking for an inspiring getaway, this celebration is packed with magic, music, and moments you’ll never forget.
A Week of Music, Memories & Magic
The energy in Memphis was absolutely electric. Fans from across the globe came together, some dressed in vintage-inspired outfits or channeling their inner Elvis with signature flair. Everywhere you looked, there was a sense of joy, nostalgia, and connection. At its heart, it was all about one thing—the love of Elvis.

My Favorite Moments
The Bus Tour
This year we decided to take the Graceland bus tour of Elvis locations in Memphis, and it was one of the most memorable experiences for any Elvis fan. Instead of just visiting Graceland itself, the tour takes you beyond the mansion gates to explore the city Elvis called home.
🚍 The Bus Tour Experience
The tour begins at The Guest House at Graceland, where you hop on a comfortable bus with knowledgeable guides who share fascinating stories and background info about Elvis’s life. As the bus winds through Memphis, you get to see the places that shaped both the man and the legend.
📍 Highlights Along the Way
- Sun Studio: where Elvis recorded “That’s All Right” and his career truly began.
- Humes High School: the school Elvis attended as a teenager before the world knew his name.
- Hotel Chisca: Home to WHBQ radio, where DJ Dewey Phillips first played Elvis’s record “That’s All Right”
- Overton Park Shell: the stage where Elvis had his first billed performance.
- Elvis’s Karate Dojo: the Memphis studio where Elvis practiced karate, one of his passions outside of music.
- The Memphian Theater: Elvis’s favorite theater getaway, where he would often rent out the entire theater to watch movies with friends late at night.

💡 Why It’s Worth It
What makes the bus tour so special is the way it connects you to Elvis’s early days and personal history. You’re not just hearing about Elvis, you’re seeing the very spots where he walked, learned, dreamed, and even trained. For me, the highlight was how the tour ties together so many meaningful locations across Memphis, giving you a fuller picture of his journey from a local boy to the King of Rock and Roll. If you’re visiting Graceland, I highly recommend adding the bus tour to your itinerary. It’s an unforgettable way to experience Memphis through Elvis’s eyes and makes the visit feel more personal and complete.
It’s a Must Do!

✨ Tribute Performances – One of the highlights of Elvis Week for me is always the Tribute Performances. Watching the Elvis Tribute Artists take the stage is like stepping back in time—the outfits, the moves, and most importantly, the music. Each performer brings something unique, but what they all share is a love and respect for Elvis that shines through. From soulful ballads that give you goosebumps to upbeat rock ’n’ roll numbers that get the whole crowd clapping along, these performances remind me just how timeless and universal Elvis’s music really is.

✨ Graceland Tours – Walking through his home always feels surreal. Every room tells a story, and you can almost feel his presence. Tip: Try the last tour of the day, it’s usually quieter and feels more personal, almost like you’re visiting the home as a guest.

✨ Fan Tributes – From floral arrangements to heartfelt notes, the love people bring to Graceland is very touching.

The Magic of the Candlelight Vigil at Graceland
One of the highlights for me is always the Candlelight Vigil. Standing outside Graceland, surrounded by thousands of flickering candles, you can’t help but feel a connection — not only to Elvis, but also to the fans.
It’s a moving experience, a quiet moment of reflection shared with fans from around the world. The glow of the candles, the hush of the crowd, and the music in the background create a memory that stays with you forever. This year our schedule didn’t allow us to attend the Vigil, so I’m sharing a photo from a past visit instead.

Style at Graceland
Of course, you know I had to bring some style to Elvis Week! For the big day at Graceland, I wore a pink mini dress skort, cowgirl hat, and white boots — because let’s be honest, if you can’t have fun with fashion here, then where can you? It was the perfect outfit to capture both the Southern charm of Memphis and the playful spirit of Elvis.

Tip: If you’re planning to go: wear something comfortable but statement-worthy. There’s a lot of walking (and a lot of photos!), so shoes you can actually move in are a must.

Wrapping it up
Elvis Week is filled with unforgettable highlights, live music that gets your feet moving, tribute performances, the candlelight vigil, and Graceland’s inspiring exhibits. Each year reminds me why his influence still feels so alive today.
I see Elvis Week as more than just an event — it’s a chance to connect with fellow fans, celebrate Elvis, and share how my love of fashion, music, and The King of Rock and Roll all blend together. Whether it’s a fun outfit post, behind-the-scenes moments, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, this annual tradition reminds me why I return year after year.
If you’ve ever thought about visiting Graceland, Elvis Week is the ultimate time to do it. You’ll not only see the mansion and museum, but you’ll also get swept up in concerts, panels, and a global community of fans. It’s part festival, part pilgrimage, and completely unforgettable.
Till next time ✌🏻
There’s something about Elvis Week that goes beyond travel—it’s an experience every Elvis fan carries long after leaving Memphis.
Until next year, Elvis Week—you’ll always hold a special place in my heart. TCB 🐝
